With the power I/O box type 8643, Burkert offers a system that allows extremely cost efficient connection of distributed binary signals to a process control system. Communication takes place via field bus in accordance with the IEC 61158. The hardware offers 4 intrinsically safe digital outputs making it possible to control a wide range of intrinsically safe actuators such as solenoid valves, relays or indicator lights.
